A Story of Hope, Resilience, and a Heart for Helping Others
Hello, and welcome! I’m Lindy and I’m so glad you’re here. My journey to becoming a parent wasn’t the one I expected, but it’s a story I now hold close to my heart.
For years, I struggled with infertility. After countless doctor visits, three exhausting rounds of donor egg IVF, and an emotional rollercoaster of hope and heartbreak, I came to the difficult realization that this path wasn’t meant for me. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made.
Turning to adoption was a hopeful new chapter, but our initial experience with the process was unexpectedly slow and confusing. The agency we worked with felt vague and distant, and it seemed we had very little exposure to expectant birth parents. I found myself feeling lost and discouraged once again.
Then, everything changed. I discovered the world of adoption consultants and met an incredible guide who truly cared about our journey. Within just two months of working together, we were matched with our son, Calvin. In that moment, all the waiting, the struggles and the heartache made sense. Calvin was meant to be our little boy, and we can’t imagine life without him.
